Departure at 8 am heading toward the south side of the city, the first stop will be in a touristic restaurant to drink Mate de coca just in case to avoid altitude sickness.

Before getting the National Park’s limits you visit Patococha lake, then you make another stop in a gasified water emanating from the depths of the sub soil, after that visit to Pumapashimin lake going on you have another stop next to the impressive Puya Raymondi which is considered as the queen of the andes because is impressive altitude. And finally get the parking lot at 4 800. Since here you have to hike up  until the glacier. The path is well-maintained ans easy to follow, it will take you approximately 40 minutes to get there tough. But remember that the weather at this place can change rapidly so be prepared for it. Don’t forget to bring rain proof gear. When you reach the summit there is one viewpoint and it is no longer permitted to walk on the glacier because of the massive melting, so you have to stay only in designated areas.

Arrival to Huaraz at around 6pm
